Studio Amalgam is an organization that supports research and creation in the performing arts. Since 2014, located in the heart of Beirut, Studio Amalgam has become a dynamic and central hub for the performing arts, focusing primarily on movement, contemporary dance, and physical theater.

Our missions:

  1. Provide a safe and well-equipped space for artistic residencies and rehearsals.
  2. Set up mentorship programs that stimulate artistic creation and support the development of emerging talents.
  3. Offer regular classes and workshops at affordable prices.
  4. Promote cultural exchange, encounters, and potential collaborations between local and international artists.

Studio Amalgam: A Center for the Performing Arts

The studio was founded in 2015 by choreographer Yara Boustany and has been directed in collaboration with theatre director Racha Baroud  since 2019 . Since 2022, Farah Naboulsi has joined the team as creative producer.
